Welcome to Garden House Nursery School, established in 1983 and located in the beautiful village of Gotherington.
We are a Montessori based Nursery School and we have small groups of children aged from two to five years.
The nursery school is where your child will have fun, be happy and enjoy the opportunities for learning through play
in our friendly and stimulating nursery.
We are located in the Rex Rhodes building & Gotherington Village Hall we are set in a beautiful environment,
boasting views of Woolstone Hill and Nottingham Hill which can be see from our safe and secure outside play area.

GARDEN HOUSE NURSERY
‘Enjoy, Learn, Achieve’
We believe very strongly that children need to have free access to the
outdoors and the children are able to use several outdoor spaces every
day. We have wonderful outdoor facilities – an enclosed garden area, a
purpose built play area as well as a playing field and Forest School area.
At least once a week we use our Forest School area and all the children go
outside, unless the weather poses a risk to the children, to explore and
investigate the world around them. We are lucky to have a trained Forest
School Leader. This gives the children opportunities to practise thinking
skills, problem solving and gross motor skills outdoors.
